One Year

After one year of being the operator of Rainey Day Adventures, I am a completely new person. This experience has completely changed my life, my quality of life, the feeling of importance and love from the public, the support I have received from friends, both new and old. The support I have received from complete strangers, some of who have become dear friends, and others I’ll never see again. And even teaching a class!!

I want to thank each and every single person who has bought my products. You have literally made my dreams come true. Since I was a very young person, I have wanted to find my place in the world where I can share my art. I have struggled deeply with imposter syndrome and questioned many times “who would want to purchase something I’ve made?” And the question, my friends, is you. Your support and trust in me and my work has filled my heart with so much love and appreciation. 

To the people who seek me out at events, you are my heroes. You keep me coming back every time. You keep products on my table and remind me every day that what I do is important. 

To the event planners, the people who have let me set up in your bars, and test products in your stores; you inspire me to have bigger and more exciting dreams than I could have imagined.

To my fellow vendors, you welcomed me with no hesitation. You support my choices, encourage me to make bolder moves, and are there for vent sessions when things don’t go as planned. All the hours spent putting up and taking down our booths side by side, sending each other events, and trading products because we want to share what we’ve got. You all are so strong and incredible, your strength gives me strength and hope of my own.
